Kane, could you introduce yourself briefly?

Kane: “Hallo allemaal, mijn naam is Xiang Fei Qiang maar jullie kunnen me in het Engels Kane noemen. Mijn opleidingsachtergrond bestaat uit de middelbare school, waar ik de basis heb gelegd voor mijn avontuurlijke reis.”

“Ik ben positief en optimistisch, nuchter en hardwerkend, met een combinatie van kennis en daadkracht. Ook heb ik veel doorzettingsvermogen en leervermogen. Ik ben al meer dan tien jaar actief in de productkwaliteitsinspectie.”

Kane, could you tell us about your role and responsibilities at We R Asia?

Kane: “Ik houd mij op dagelijkse basis bezig met het uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroleprocedures als Specialist in Kwaliteitscontrole Inspectie. Mijn verantwoordelijkheden omvatten het uitvoeren van grondige inspecties van productkwaliteit en fabrieksonderzoeken. Mijn taken bestaan uit gedetailleerde inspecties van productkwaliteit en fabriekscontroles. Ook houd ik toezicht op inspecties tijdens de vroege sampelfase en gedurende de productie.”

What motivated you to join We R Asia, and how has your background and experience contributed to your current position?

Kane: “Ik ben lid geworden van We R Asia als een levenslange toewijding en ik zie mezelf nergens anders werken. Ik ben enthousiast om deel uit te maken van het bedrijf. Zodra ik erbij hoor, wil ik me niet alleen aanpassen – ik wil brengen wat ik heb geleerd en ook van jullie leren. We hebben allemaal onze sterke en zwakke punten, en daar gebeurt de magie. Laten we de handen ineenslaan en samen de taken aanpakken die het bedrijf op ons pad brengt. Ik ben volledig toegewijd als het gaat om samenwerken met collega’s om ervoor te zorgen dat wat we leveren van topkwaliteit is.”

Hoe verloopt de communicatie tussen jou en je Nederlandse collega’s?

I am grateful for Jasper his trust and the tolerance of my international colleagues in the Netherlands. I greatly appreciate the recognition I've earned for my work, as it holds significant value to me. Thanks to my Chinese colleagues for their help. We need to continue learning in the future, so together, we can achieve the best results!

Kane, what are your personal ambitions within your current role at We R Asia?

In my current role at We R Asia, my personal goals are pretty straightforward. First off, I'm all about enjoying what I do – finding that spark in my job that keeps me excited. Responsibility is a big deal for me too. I want to make sure I'm on top of things and delivering my best.

Leren is een essentieel onderdeel van het plan. Ik luister aandachtig als het gaat om het opnemen van nieuwe kennis en vaardigheden. Op die manier kan ik taken serieus aanpakken.

En je weet wat ze zeggen, eenheid is kracht. Ik sta volledig achter het creëren van een hechte teamdynamiek. Ik geloof dat we samen echt iets magisch kunnen creëren. Dus draaien mijn ambities om het houden van passie voor mijn werk, verantwoordelijkheid nemen, de leercurve blijven volgen en het opbouwen van een sterke teamgeest.”

Kane, welke uitdagingen zie jij voor de productie in China, zowel op het gebied van technologie als duurzaamheid?

China, as a significant manufacturing powerhouse, grapples with a range of challenges throughout its production processes. On the one hand, there's the mounting demand from global consumers for top-notch product quality and performance. This requires China's production technology to level up and evolve, aligning with these heightened expectations. On the flip side, the intensifying global spotlight on environmental concerns necessitates that China's production methods adopt more sustainable practices, aiming to minimize their ecological footprint. 

Wat is jouw visie voor de toekomst van productie in China?

I hold a positive attitude towards future production in China. As one of the world's largest manufacturing countries, China has strong production capacity and market potential, and will continue to maintain a high level of production activity in the future.

I believe that companies should continuously seek innovation and launch new products, services, or business models to meet the needs of the market and consumers. Innovation can help companies maintain a competitive advantage, increase the added value of products, and expand into new market areas.

Besides, I think that companies need to attach importance to talent cultivation and motivation, establish a competitive salary system and incentive mechanism, and attract and retain outstanding talents. At the same time, the company should also provide good learning and growth opportunities, cultivate employees' innovation and leadership abilities, and respond to the constantly changing environmental challenges.

Besides, companies can diversify their risks and expand new market opportunities through diversification strategies. Diversification can include expanding product lines, entering new market areas, and collaborating with other enterprises. Through diversification strategy, companies can find growth points in different fields and markets, reducing their dependence on a single market.

And lastly, fully understand the market and competitors: Companies need to closely monitor market dynamics, consumer demand, and competitors' actions, and adjust their strategies and business models in a timely manner. By deeply understanding the market and competitors, companies can better grasp market opportunities and respond to market challenges.

And finally, what is your favorite traditional Chinese dish?

There are too many delicious foods in China, each with its own unique characteristics. Step into the world of Chinese cooking!

If I had to pick, I'd say I'm totally into Hunan, Sichuan, and Cantonese cuisines – they're the ones I love the most!
