The collaboration between Weltevree and We R Asia
Jasper from Weltevree tells: 'For us, it is very important to have a large collection of products. We always strive to find the best partner for each product. This also applies to our new products. We search for the best match to meet all desired quality requirements for the product. Therefore, we collaborate with many manufacturers, so even though we are a small company with 16 permanent employees, we have everything in-house: logistics, sales, marketing, product development, and so on.'
'It is impossible for us to be constantly present at all the manufacturers we collaborate with and carry out the necessary inspections. Weltevree has an extensive product collection and works with so many different factories that, logistically, it is simply not feasible. That's why it's go great that we can rely on We R Asia as a bridge between us and the factories. We R Asia greatly strengthens us in that aspect by conducting quality checks and ensuring that everything is in order. In the Netherlands, I can still drive to a factory, but in Asia, it's a different story. Moreover, one moment a manufacturer is in Vietnam, the next moment it is in China. It's just too wide-ranging and far away to handle everything ourselves.'
